As a doctor by day, my life is often demanding and rigid. For me, art is an essential counterpoint; a boundless space to process the human stories I encounter and to express myself without limitation. That’s how the name "Do Well Original Art" was born! It's a blend of my last name, McDowell, and a nod to the oath I've taken as a doctor to "Do Well" by my patients and community. My art is where my desire to make a positive impact meets the creative outpouring of my authentic self.
